  1. Spiller Park is far and away my favorite.
  2. I visited East Pole for the first time recently and thought it was really good.

  4. Dancing Goats is great coffee, but the ambience is not for me.
  5. Similarly, Kaldi’s is good coffee, but is only on Emory campus.

  Finished The Martian. At first I thought the premise was too similar to Project Hail Mary, but it won me over, and I really enjoyed it.

• 2024 JRC Turkey Strut 5k Race Report

  Yesterday I raced the Turkey Strut 5k in Winston-Salem, NC. My goal was to negatively split the race, which I did.

  I ran a 23:44, which is a VDOT score of 40.7, making it my best race since August’s Decatur DeKalb 4 Miler.
