With my limited Spanish, I thought trying some kids books in Spanish would be good, but I could read only a small fraction of this without help. The story is very sweet.

Finished A Gentleman in Moscow.
Honestly, this was a bit of a slog. The bulk of the book felt like apologetics for aristocracy, but I was told to keep going, it gets better towards the end. The plot did pick up towards the end, but I don’t know if it made the rest of the book worthwhile.
The basement is DONE done! Nat and his crew reinstalled the laundry floor, installed some door stops, and put a final coat of paint on a couple things, and it is done! Now to give it a vacuum and start moving back in. I’ll get some before/after photos up later this week.
