Last week I made the General Tso’s Chicken recipe from J. Kenji Lopez-Alt’s The Wok cookbook.
It was outstanding. 4 stars ★★★★☆
We went to Rreal Tacos in Decatur for our family dinner out. It was very lively, a completely different vibe from the previous tenant, ponko chicken. I got a costra taco and a picanha taco. The costra taco is wrapped in griddled cheese and then in a tortilla. I know of the picanha cut of beef, but I don’t think I’ve ever had it, so that was of interest to me. They were both good, but the picanha was chewier than I prefer.
