End of training cycle celebratory beer!
Tomorrow I’m running the Big Beach Half Marathon. My friend, Steve, is running the marathon to celebrate his 60th birthday, and many of us have secretly been training to join him for the weekend.
We surprised Steve yesterday so I can finally publish my training details.
Last week I made J. Kenji Lopez-Alt’s Japanese Beef and Potato Stew (Nikujaga) recipe from The Wok.
The soup was good. It very much tasted like a Western stew with a Japanese broth. 3 stars ★★★☆☆
