Last week I made the Pancake Dipping Sauce recipe from J. Kenji Lopez-Alt’s The Wok cookbook to go with the Korean and Chinese pancake recipes that start the Frying chapter.
The sauce is good, mostly salty and sweet. 4 stars ★★★★☆
No major differences over last week, but we got our final inspections done, the painter came for final touch-ups, and the laundry shelf got finished.
Time to move on from firefox I guess
This past week I made the Ants Climbing Trees (Sichuan Cellophane Noodles with Pork and Chiles) recipe from J. Kenji Lopez-Alt’s The Wok cookbook.
We thought the final dish was just ok. It was very hot and numbing. 3 stars ★★★☆☆
Basement project week 13 day 3: lots of details tackled today: doorknobs installed, access panels, installed, and bookshelf shelves put in, but the most noticeable are the stair treads and handrail.
