  • They Won’t Change Their Behavior

This is the time of year when the fruits of the exotic Nandina domestica shrub are particularly noticeable and reminders go out from conservation groups to remove the fruits (and even the shrubs) to protect birds.

I think I have a few of these growing in yet-to-be-tackled parts of our yard. Looks like I should go ahead and remove them ahead of schedule.

  • Tamago-Kake Gohan

Thoughts on making Tamago-Kake Gohan from J. Kenji Lopez-Alt’s The Wok cookbook. It did not go over well with the family; 2 stars ★★☆☆☆

  • Report: Fulton development authority approves $10.1 million tax break for X

The Development Authority of Fulton County (DAFC) approved a $10.1 million tax break for a data center expansion by social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.…The AJC reports that the project will not create any new jobs, but it will retain 24 existing employees.

Bad move Fulton. An X data center in the county does nothing for the community; there is no reason to give them a tax break.
