Last week I made J. Kenji Lopez-Alt’s Simple Panfried Tofu with Soy-Garlic Sauce recipe from his The Wok cookbook.
The tofu was bland and crunchier than expected. The sauce helped, but not enough. As is, 2 stars ★★☆☆☆, but with some adjustments, might could get to 3 stars.
There was a joke to be had by making that full of typos, but I’m serious.
Autocorrect turning “boys” to “BLTs” was the final straw. I’m trying life with autocorrect turned off.
The real shift comes from how we see leaves: They’re not clutter; they’re home to the very nature we want to experience in our own yards.
