Last week I made the Málà Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings from J. Kenji Lopez-Alt’s The Wok cookbook.
Overall, this was a big hit. The potato starch coating puffed up and had a good crunch. The only problem was that they were too salty, but that can be fixed. 4 stars ★★★★☆
Finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
The kids and I have read a Harry Potter book each summer for the past seven years. They are still enjoyable books. It’s a shame that Rowling has such bad views on gender identity. I don’t know the next time I’ll engage with her work.
