This is incredibly short-sighted. Popularity of the section should be an argument for transit options, not against.
And don’t start with this “autonomous vehicles” gadgetbahn nonsense.
Do it and do it now. And also don't expand the car network.
But why does a mile of multi-use path cost over 7 million dollars?
