I finished Abaddon’s Gate. I thought the authors did a pretty good job with the religious figure, Anna. Sometimes a character like that can feel trite, or forced into a certain perspective, but she was complex and nuanced and came across as genuine.
@dx if only someone could tell us how Paris accomplished this feat of traffic Engineering! Surely they spent hundreds of millions of dollars and leveled half of their historic buildings, after decades of planning and outreach? Or did they just quit coddling cars for a minute?
Like the small bits of BeltLine path that gradually were built one section at a time until they started to connect, this first rail section is just one piece of a big puzzle with a really beautiful picture at the end.
I appreciated this thoughtful perspective of light rail on the beltline.
