Coffeeneuring Challenge 2025 ended November 24. The theme for this year seems to have been “what has happened to the cappuccino?” I was converted to a 5oz third wave(? I don’t know. The waves thing feels like industry jargon, but where the milk is micro foam fully incorporated into the espresso versus a thick foam cap) cappuccino over a 10 years ago at Steady Hand Pour House (RIP). Brash Coffee Roasters and Chrome Yellow both offered 8 ounce cappuccinos, hence getting cortados there. Tea Leaf and Creamery doesn’t offer one, and I can’t bring myself to pay for anything more than black coffee at Starbucks. Kaldi’s Coffee had a thick cap. Dancing Goats is the only shop that delivered a good cappuccino.
A big bonus this year was going on two rides with my daughter!
I knocked out the first few rides quickly and thought I might get several c+1 rides in, but time and funds both got tight by the end.
