Finished Cibola Burn. Overall I liked it, but it slowed for me about three-quarters of the way through as the “what else could go wrong” kept happening.

Murtry is an intense character and much of the book had a sense of dread because of him.

A big theme seemed to be the inevitability of catastrophe; something that can’t be avoided, only handled.
