Basement project week 7 day 2: drywallers finished up by sanding, but absolutely no change can be seen in a photo.
I have no clue why they do this. There must be some kind of government incentive for them to offer such a service.

Last night I tried to install a newer version of python on my VPS, and make install kept hammering my RAM and hanging. This is on Dreamhost’s cheapest, 1GB ram VPS plan.
I finally got it to work by stopping the gunicorn service running my site for the duration of the install.
I wish I knew enough to know a better way to safeguard against this in the future.
