Landscape Project 2024: Week Five

I’m calling Landscape Project 2024 done! (Even though I have a couple of wrap-up tasks.) I’ll try to clean up the magnolia leaves and take proper “after” pictures this week.

I got the final bit of mulch placed this past weekend, and I’m calling this project (pretty much) done!

There are still a few things to do, but nothing that will be noticeable in pictures. I want to paint some wood trim around a basement window that’s getting far too worn, and I need to clean up after myself, and I need to dispose of a pile of rocks and old drain tile that I dug up while planting. You know, the general post-project cleanup stuff.

I only had an hour to work, so I only cleaned up the magnolia leaves on the section still needing mulch. I’ll try to get the rest up and take some proper “after” pictures to complement my “before” pictures.
